Ah I understand, it's extremely irksome when people don't like footballers (or actually people in general) because of silly reasons, sometimes for no reason at all. I know of people who don't like German football "just because they don't like it" and I'm like, huh? -_- and I don't like bandwagon fans either.
I'm relatively new to football because I got really into it only after watching the Germans play in the WC last year by chance on television (probably one of the best things that's happened in my life). But I've learnt a great deal of news and other things about football, especially things that happen in the Bundesliga and La Liga, thanks to the lj communities! Was having a pretty hard time back then because I was mugging for my A levels like crazy, but I'm glad I had some bits of football news and matches to supplement my life! :D
